The Parish Council has now had the slide repaired.  The roundabout is now scheduled for maintenance.

The next meeting of Fyfield Parish Council is on Monday 13 May 2024 at 7:00pm in the Clubroom, the Annual Parish Assembly will take place at 7:30pm in the village hall - all welcome.

PARISH CLERK - VACANCY

We are looking to recruit a new Clerk for the Parish Council.  Approx 9 hours of work from home a week, a combination of admin, answering emails and dealing with any queries, planning meetings, drawing up agendas and minutes.  It is an interesting role, getting involved with the village and working with great councillors.  If you are interested, please call Katharine for more info on 07872 603871.  Full details here

PARISH COUNCILLORS SOUGHT

Fyfield Parish Council are seeking two people to take the council back up to full strength.  The Parish Council represents the community in terms of certain assets, planning applications within the parish, issues arising from footpaths and highways, maintenance of sports field and burial ground and many other items relating to Fyfield and its residents.  We hold monthly council meetings and also communicate with residents via the Fyfield Focus, the Notice Board by the village shop and the FPC website

HIRE THE SPORTS FIELD

The Parish Council own and maintain the Sports Field at Houchin Drive.  If you would like to hire it for an event, to put up a bouncy castle etc, please download the booking form HERE and return it to Sandra Mead at gemkia@aol.com

Two grants have been secured recently - one to buy mats to put down on the field to allow extra parking, and the other to purchase items and pay for entertainment for the Platinum Jubilee celebrations. Click here for photos.
